This tree of life is wire wrapped in sterling silver. It is what the moon looks like when there is a total lunar eclipse. It is called the “Blood Moon”, but it is actually copper in color.
From the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant measures about 2 inches.

During a lunar eclipse, the Moon, Sun, and Earth stand in a line with the Earth in the middle, causing our planet’s shadow to be cast onto the Moon. When the earth casts it shadow on the moon it is called the “umbra”. My favorite is when it looks like someone took a bite off the moon!
