~ Yellow Full Moon

Of all the full moons through the year, June is most likely to glow yellow through out the night. So it is called the “Honey Moon”. 🍯

The moons color never changes, so why do we see different colors through out the year? This is due to the angle that you are viewing at, and also my the particles in our atmosphere.

The moon itself does not have its own light, but reflects the sunlight. The yellow is light less scattered as it travels through the particles.
