Healing Amazonite
About Amazonite I can only speculate why this beautiful stone in called Amonzonite. It is not found either in the Amazon River or the Amazon Jungle. It certainly does sound more exotic that green felspar. There is a legend that a fierce tribe of woman worriers called the Amazonian adorned their battle gear with it, and could very well be where it's name came from.
